FAQ

Q: How long do the Cold Brew Concentrates Last?

Our cold brew concentrates are shelf-stable for a full year thanks to a special brewing process and airtight packaging.

However, once you open the concentrate, it's exposed to air. To maintain the best possible flavour and freshness, we recommend storing it in the refrigerator after opening. This cold environment slows down the oxidation process which can slightly degrade the coffee's taste over time.

In short, unopened concentrates are good in your pantry for up to 12 months, once opened you get 6 months in the fridge.

Q: I placed an order with coffee beans and Cold Brew Concentrates, but the beans arrived separately. Why is that?

A: We take freshness seriously! To ensure you receive the most flavourful cup possible, we roast our coffee beans fresh in small batches. Because of this, your coffee beans might arrive in a separate package from your other order items.

Here's the breakdown:

  • Freshness First: By roasting to order and shipping separately, we prevent your coffee beans from sitting in a warehouse and losing their rich aroma and taste.
  • Faster Bean Delivery: Separate shipping allows your coffee beans to travel independently, potentially arriving sooner than if they were packed with other items.

We understand this may mean an extra box, but we believe the difference in taste is worth it! For peak enjoyment, we recommend grinding your beans just before brewing.

Q: Do you sponsor bands/events or 4wd/camping ?

ABSOLUTELY! SUPPORTING MUSICIANS, AND ADVENTURERS, IS PART OF OUR DNA. IN FACT, OUR COMPANY WAS FOUNDED WITH TRAVELING BANDS IN MIND, AIMING TO PROVIDE THEM WITH A RELIABLE PICK-ME-UP FOR THOSE LONG STRETCHES ON THE ROAD.

We offer sponsorship opportunities for bands, events, and outdoor creators that align with our values. Whether you’re a band hitting the road for a national tour, a local venue hosting a music festival, or a 4WD and camping creator exploring the great outdoors, we’re keen to have a chat.

Q: Can I make the Cold Brew Concentrate with hot water?

A: Absolutely! Hot water is a perfectly valid way to brew your coffee concentrate.

Q: Why do you call the Cold Brew Concentrate a Coffee Goon Bag?

A: In Australia, a 'goon bag' is slang for the silver cask inside a box of wine an iconic, easy way to enjoy a drink. We took that same idea of convenience and applied it to coffee! Our coffee goon bag gives you a barista-quality cold brew in a tap-friendly format, making it super easy to pour, store, and enjoy. No mess, no machines just smooth, delicious coffee ready to go!
